Guest artists will share their knowledge in topics such as: costuming, sculptural elements, e-textiles and bringing a character to life. Most classes will have two parts. During the first hour a guest artist will introduce a skill or technique. The second hour offers time for the students to work independently on their own individual costume. Click here for a list of your takeaways from the class.
This class requires a sewing machine. A limited number of sewing machines are available on a first come first served basis. Make a note in the comment section if you need a sewing machine.
Supplies for e-textile tutorial will be provided. E-textiles, sculptural elements and fabric specific to your costume are not included.
Can’t make it to all the classes? No worries! Sign up for 1 month, 2 months or a drop in class and come when you can. Make a note in the comments on the dates you plan to be there. That helps us make sure we have enough supplies.
